One of the great struggles facing followers of Jesus Christ, especially in high school, is assurance of salvation. Because our relationship with Jesus is spiritual in nature, doubts can creep in at various times. Moreover, assurance of salvation impacts many aspects of life including anxiety/depression, service in God’s Kingdom, and love for the Lord. We believe this is a highly relevant topic for high school students and believe everyone who comes (mature believers, those new to a relationship with Jesus, and unbelievers) will grow through this focus.

Mackay is the associate pastor at Lake Wales ARP Church. Prior to serving there, he was on staff at White Oak ARP in Georgia. Mackay has degrees from both Erskine College and Reformed Theological Seminary. He is married to Rachel and they have two beautiful children. Mackay served on the retreat planning committee for many years before moving to Florida Presbytery. He is probably most famous for his acting abilities as seen in his fabulous skits during Horizon and Quest.
Will Milks is glad to have grown up playing piano, which provided an excellent foundation for learning guitar in ninth grade. Since then, he prefers the instrument that's easier to carry! Born and raised in Greensboro, NC, he appreciates his experiences with both private and public schools, and is happy to be a graduate of Erskine College. Husband to Nicole and father of John Austin (turns two March 4th, so wish him a happy birthday), Will is thankful for their presence and engagement in God’s recent call to serve as Worship Director for Cross Park Church in Charlotte, NC.
