I am a mechatronics engineer in Greenville, SC, and I am married to Abby, the love of my life. Most importantly, I am a servant of Christ. I grew up in the church and was surrounded by music from an early age.  Inspired by Switchfoot, my favorite band at the time, I started playing the guitar my freshman year of high school. This decision cultivated in me a deep love for music that continues to this day, and I have taught myself to play four other instruments over the years. When I consider the roles that God calls me to, I think of one of my favorite quotes by Eric Liddell, an Olympic runner and missionary. He said, “I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure.” In a similar way, God put me on a specific path and gave me a passion for music which He has turned into a passion for leading worship in the local church. My hope is that God is glorified in all that I do, and that I never lose sight of the reason why I play and sing.
